8th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

on Children and Young Adult Librarianship

The 8th International Conference on Children and Young Adult Librarianship, held from October 1 to 4, 2024, at the Sison Auditorium in Lingayen, Pangasinan, brought together library professionals and educators from across the globe to discuss innovative practices in children's and young adult librarianship. The event highlighted the vital role of libraries in fostering a love of reading and learning among young people. Dr. Maria Mercedez M. Haz, Ms. Kimbea Dela Torre, and Ms. Monica Del Rosario proudly represented La Consolacion University Philippines at the conference. They actively participated in the sessions, exchanging insights and strategies on how libraries can better serve young audiences, as well as exploring new trends in youth engagement and literacy development. The conference served as an excellent platform for networking, professional development, and sharing best practices in the field of library science.
