MOA SIGNING BETWEEN DOST and LCUP

A Strategic Collaboration for the Enhancement of Library Resources through the DOST STARBOOKS Project

On February 26, 2025, La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) formally entered into a strategic partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). This collaboration is focused on the DOST STARBOOKS (Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk), which aims to broaden access to scientific and technological knowledge and research materials for students, faculty, and the local community.

The MOA signing event, held on the LCUP campus, was graced by distinguished representatives from both institutions. Ms. Angelita Q. Parungao, the Director of the DOST Provincial Science and Technology Office (PSTO) in Bulacan, and Ms. Aira Ronalie P. Santos, Senior Science Research Specialist at DOST PSTO Bulacan, attended the ceremony, underscoring the importance of this partnership in advancing educational and research capabilities.
