  • BUILDING A LEGACY GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY MARKS NEW MILESTONE FOR LCUP

    La Consolacion University Philippines officially broke ground on its soon-torise seven-storey building at a ceremony held on Wednesday, May 8. The new structure, which will be named after the Our Lady of Perpetual Help, will rise on the lot beside the Café Monica Building.

    LCUP FOREIGN LANGUAGE CENTER OFFERS TESOL SUMMER PROGRAM

    The LCUP Foreign Language Center, headed by Dr. Enrico F. Rosales as Program Director, launched its 120hour Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) summer program on April 22 which is aimed at teachers, students and other professionals interested in becoming effective English instructors

    Students from the different college departments presented their capsule proposals and completed papers during the Students’ Research Colloquium held at the St. Augustine AVR on April 5, Friday.

    The College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy (CBEA) organized a Student Development and Integrating Seminar at the Kalinangan Auditorium on May 3 with the theme: “CBEANS: Reaching the Heights, Setting the Limits, Beating the Standards.”

    Higher Education has now become more accessible to Consolanians as 29 recipients of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) converged at the College of Medicine Audio-Visual room on May 7 to receive their grants for the second semester.

    Participants from the LCUP Graduate School Department, headed by EVP/VPAA and Dean of Graduate School Dr. Alvin V. Nuqui, attended the 2019 Regional Convention and Paper Presentation of the Philippine Association for Graduate Education (PAGE) Region III held at Angeles University Foundation in Pampanga on March 30.

    LCUP CONDUCTS BRET AND GCPWVOLUME

    The LCUP College of Medicine and the Research, Extension, and Linkages Department partnered with the UERM Research Institute for Health Sciences in conducting a three-day Basic Research Ethics Training (BRET) and Good Clinical Practice Workshop (GCPW) on March 18-20 at the Rambutan Hall of the BarCIE International Center.

    The Inter-Agency Committee on Foreign Students (IACFS) held a joint monitoring and evaluation visit at LCUP on November 8, Thursday, to check the implementation of policies on foreign students enrolled in the institution.

    The Quality Assurance Office, headed by its Director Mr. Alejandro Vistan, spearheaded an internal ISO audit on October 8 to ensure the University’s commitment in upholding high quality standards across all departments.
