CESOP SPEARHEADS OUTREACH PROGRAM AT MOTHER RITA HOMES



The Community Extension Services and Outreach Program (CESOP), headed by Dr. Maria Lourdes Cervantes, held an outreach activity for the month of October at the Mother Rita Homes and Northville 9, LCUP’s adopted communities. The activities conducted at the communities are the following: 1.) Catechism of preschool students conducted by NSTP students from the Night College Department; 2.) Free medical check-up, BP screening, uric acid screening, ECG and giving of Ensure Nutrivigor facilitated by the SAS department; 3.) “Larong Pinoy” for chil dren facilitated by the SDS department; 4.) Dialogue of Life: Community Exposure Activity with Theological Reflection participated by selected students from CASE, CBEA and CITE departments; and 6.) the Lipat Kaalaman Program: Parents Effectiveness Sessions on Basic Hospitality, Kitchen Skills and Planning of Livelihood Programs initiated by the CITE, CITHM and CBEA departments. These community extension activities are conducted by the CESOP office monthly, and aims to raise social awareness among students and university employees
