IACFS CONDUCTS JOINT VISIT



The Inter-Agency Committee on Foreign Students (IACFS) held a joint monitoring and evaluation visit at LCUP on November 8, Thursday, to check the implementation of policies on foreign students enrolled in the institution.

The monitoring team comprised of representatives from the National In telligence Coordinating Agency, Bureau of Immigration, and National Bureau of Investigation. They were assisted by Ms. Cynthia Mamawan from the Office of Student Development Services, and Dr. Cristina Nuque, Supervising Education Program Specialist of CHEDRO III.

The team was welcomed by EVP/VPAA Dr. Alvin Nuqui, VP of REL Dr. Enrico Rosales, and Linkages Director Ms. Renarlyn Cardenas.

A meeting was held to discuss the procedures regarding the admission of foreign students, as well as, the safety measures to be implemented in order to prevent terrorists from exploiting the University’s foreign exchange program.

The monitoring team paid a courtesy visit to the University President Sr. Editha Zerna, OSA, Ph.D
