LCUP CELEBRATES ITS FIRST INSTITUTIONAL TEACHERS’ DAY



In observance of World Teachers’ Day, the LCUP administration held a celebration for its faculty members at the Atis Hall of the BarCIE International Center on October 5, Friday.

The program commenced with a Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Dario Cabral, Rector of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, followed by the launch of the LCUP Raffle Bonanza by Alumni Association President, Mr. Jaime Pulumbarit. The opening remarks was administered by Mr. Mc Rayson Bautista, BED SCB President.

The event featured a series of stellar performances by students from the Basic Education and College departments, who gave tribute to their teachers by showcasing their talents in singing, dancing, and spoken word poetry.

Mr. Angelo Cartago, Cultural Arts Director, performed an original song composition dedicated to the teachers.

Flowers were given to the faculty members as tokens of gratitude for their hard work and dedication.

The finale was a surprise dance number from the LCUP administrators, followed by a response given by Ms. Maxima Asistio, who shared bits of wisdom from her many years of experience as an instructor.
