LCUP PERSONNEL ATTEND ORIENTATION ON EMERGENCY AND CRISIS RESPONSE
Two representatives from the Bulacan Fire Department (BFD) were invited as guest speakers for the Orientation on Emergency and Crisis Response spearheaded by the Quality Assurance Office last November 10, held at the 5th Floor AVR, Administration Building, LCUP Main Campus. The first speaker, SFO3 Ervin M. Agustin, tackled the usual causes of fires and the precautions on how to prevent them. He likewise discussed the necessary safety procedures to be followed in case of a fire breakout as well as the correct fire extinguishers to use for different types of fires.
Meanwhile, Mr. Donald Maniego, another BFD representative, gave expert advice on disaster preparedness.
An open forum was held afterwards where the speakers addressed the audience’s questions. The orientation started from 3 PM to 5 PM and was attended by members of the faculty and non-teaching personnel. The orientation is part of the series of seminars conducted by the Quality Assurance Office to ensure the safety of both students and personnel, as well as mitigate the risk that accompanies the occurrence of unexpected disasters and calamities.
