LINKAGES DEPARTMENT PARTNERS WITH YOUTH AMBASSADORS FOR INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE PROGRAM

The Linkages Department partnered with the Youth Ambassadors in facilitating an international exposure program for LCUP students to be held on January, 2019.

The 5-day program is open to Junior and Senior High students from ages 9 - 17. Participants will be given the option to participate in one of the two events.

The first program is the Rural Empowerment And Development (READ) on January 9-13. READ will empower students by visiting the Mechai Patta na bamboo school in Thailand, carry out community service, attend social enterprise and leadership workshops and participate in a culinary challenge.

The second program is the Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) on January 23-27 in Singapore. Students will race in Punggol Waterway Park, experience outdoor learning, and partake in a business model presentation and competition.

Ms. Renarlyn Cardenas, Linkages Director, and Dr. Enrico Rosales, REL Vice President, conducted a parents’ meeting on the afternoon of October 25 to discuss the details of the exposure program.

Youth Ambassadors is a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to empowering youths in ASEAN countries.
