VISION

The College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management Program envisions itself to be the Center of Excellence in the Tourism and Hospitality Management Program in Region III, imbued with professional values and a strong sense of Catholic Augustinian Marian core values that enable students to adapt to changes throughout their career.


MISSION

Guided by the Catholic Augustinian Marian Spirit, it commits itself to:

1. Provide quality and excellent programs and services responsive to the needs of tourism and hospitality business locally and internationally;
2. Collaborate with BarCIE International Center as training facility to provide the students the initial avenue for experiential learning;
3. Strengthen local and international linkages in tourism and hospitality industry to intensify the competitiveness of the students through continuous training and exposure locally and internationally;
4. Promote research studies that solely deals with the changing environment of the tourism and hospitality industry both locally and internationally; and
5. Promote Catholic Augustinian Marian virtues of respect for human dignity and cultivate love for cultural legacy.


GOALS

It is expected that graduates of the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management Program would be:

1. Competent, dynamic and committed in the field of tourism and hospitality management;
2. Catalyst of change and development in tourism and hospitality organization; and
3. Well-rounded service providers in the tourism and hospitality industry imbued with the Catholic Augustinian Marian core values and virtues.


OBJECTIVES

It is expected that graduates of the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management Program must have attained:

1. Proper knowledge and skills in both theory and management practice in the tourism and hospitality industry;
2. Capability to apply the most modern techniques in performing prescribed supervisory and managerial functions in the areas of tourism, hotel and restaurant operations;
3. Theoretical and practical skills necessary to become globally competitive Tourism Professionals;
4. Cultural sensitivity, ethical responsibility and social consciousness to become effective, productive, reflective and participative citizens in society; and
5. An ability to practice the Catholic Augustinian Marian core values in the actual performance of their duties and responsibilities in the tourism and hospitality industry.
