LCUP COMMUNITY GOES TO IBA, ZAMBALES
January - February 2023
The activity was organized by the Office of the University President and the Human Resource Development Office with three main goals in mind – to foster stronger relationships between departments in the institution, to ignite the spirit of achievement, gratitude, and a more profound commitment, and to learn as well as internalize the university's core values. The team building also allowed the LCUP Community to breathe and take a break from their workloads.
Facilitated by the University Chaplain Fr. Cornelio Jaranilla, Jr., OCD, the team building was comprised of activities such as a seminar-forum responding to the Vatican Church's call to take initiatives in safeguarding the minors and vulnerable adults who are part of the community, fun outdoor activities that boost teamwork and resourcefulness, and a solemn spiritual group sharing surrounding a bonfire. Before departure, a holy mass was presided by Fr. Jaranilla, followed by the renewal of baptismal vows carried out in the spring of water.
The Basic Education Department Grade 11 faculty set foot on January 21-22, the Grade 12 faculty on February 9-10, and the Nursery to Grade 10 faculty on February 10-11. Non-teaching personnel were divided into three groups scheduled on February 20-28, College faculty on February 28-March 1, and University Administrators on March 2-3.
