LCUP COMMUNITY GATHERS FOR THE INSTITUTIONAL ASSEMBLY 2023: WELCOMES THE NEW ADMINISTRATION

As the university began another academic year with a new administration, an Institutional Assembly was held to gather and welcome the administrators, faculty, and personnel of the academic year 2023-2024, last August 29, 2023, at the Kalinangan Auditorium, LCUP Main Campus.
The Institutional Assembly served as an avenue for the community to get to know each other, as a part of the program was the presentation of LCUP personnel by departments. These departments included the top management offices, namely, the Office of the University President, Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Office of the Vice President for Research, Publications, and Linkages, Office of the Vice President for Graduate Studies, Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services, and Office of the Vice President for Religious Formation and Extension.
Offices under instruction included the College of Medicine, College of Allied Medical Professions, College of Arts, Science, & Education, College of Business, Entrepreneurship, & Accountancy, College of Information Technology & Engineering, College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management, Alternative Education, and Basic Education Department.
Support Offices included the Motorpool, Human Resource and Development, Research Ethics Committee, Quality Management System, Data Privacy Office, Management Information System, Registrar’s Office, Student Affairs & Services, Library Information Center, University Laboratories, Marketing & Promotions Office, BarCIE International Center, and Administrative Services.
The community also witnessed the significant milestones of the institution over the past three years through an audio-visual presentation. Lastly, Sr. Niceta M. Vargas, OSA PhD, University President, closed the assembly with a Message to the community. In her message, Sr. Nicet shared the fundamentals of Catholic Marian-Augustinian Education divided into three parts: the Catholic Identity of LCUP, the Augustinian Identity of LCUP, and the Marian Identity of LCUP.
