CITHM renews partnership with TIIKM Sri Lanka

The University through its College
of International Tourism and Hospitality
Management (CITHM) reforged its existing
alliance with The International Institute of
Knowledge Management (TIIKM) – Sri
Lanka through a renewal of Memorandum
of Understanding (MOU) on June 13,
2023, at the Agostino Hall, LCUP Main
Campus, City of Malolos, Bulacan.
The nature of partnership, which
is to continuously embark on research
capacity-building program collaborations
remains intact, moreover, both institutions
aim for more opportunities for academic
internationalization and cultural exposure.
Carrying the same goal to revolutionize
Asian Research Culture, TIIKM
administrators flew from Sri Lanka to the
Philippines to visit its institutional partners
all over the country – including LCUP.
The program was hosted by the
Office of the Vice President for Research,
Publications, and International Affairs
headed by its VP, Dr. Mark Rey C. Santos.
The TIIKM, represented by Mr. Austin
Dinesh Joseph – Head of the International
Relations Office and Assistant General
Manager at TIIKM, and LCUP represented
by its administrators Dr. Divina Ann
Eusebio, VP for Academic Affairs, Prof.
Maria Isabel Guevara, Executive Assistant
to the University President, Sr. Mary Sheba
Principe, OSA, VP for Religious Formation
and Extension, Prof. Marissa Ventura, VP
for Finance and Administrative Services,
and Prof. Fe Corazon Villanueva, Dean
of CITHM, finally met and inked another
two-year partnership through an on-site
signing ceremony.
The signing ceremony was
concluded with an opportunity for
socialization over an early lunch banquet
LCUP and TIIKM were institutional
partners since October 28, 2021 – its first
signing ceremony was held online.
