SAS-SWS hosts Alumni Talk for K-10 students

The Student Welfare Services Unit under the Student Affairs and Services Department (SAS-SWS) organized a virtual “Alumni Talk: An Inspiration for Consolanians to Excel" in line with the Career Week on December 12, 2022, via Facebook and YouTube live.
Themed Self-Efficacy Towards a Flourishing Career Path – Steer Your Own Wheel, Navigate Your Own Ship to Success, the talk aims to develop the awareness of the students on the different career opportunities that fit their skills and interests which may lead them to the right path towards their success as well as to motivate them to thrive by gaining experience-based knowledge from LCUP Alumni who are known to be leaders and professionals in their respective fields.
The activity started with a welcome remark delivered by Dr. Cecille De Guzman, Coordinator of the Alumni Relations Office. Three LCUP alumni from the field of education graced the program, namely, Dr. Marco Rhonel M. Eusebio, Public Schools District Supervisor of Schools Division Office, City of Malolos and Professor in LCUP Alternative Education, Dr. Mark Rey C. Santos, LCUP Vice President for Research, Publications, and Linkages, also a Professor in LCUP Graduate Studies Department, and Dr. Maria Lourdes Cervantes, LCUP University Registrar and Professor in LCUP Graduate Studies Department. Their discussions were filled with brief sharing of their memories of being LCUP students and advice in making better life decisions for the senior high school students.
Dr. Rosalyn Galvez, Director of the Student Affairs and Services Department, awarded certificates to the guest speakers. The activity was concluded with a closing remark addressed by Prof. Catherine C. Gajudo, Wellness Officer for K-10. The Alumni Talk was hosted by Ms. Mary Joy Santos, a student from Grade 12 HUMSS 2.
