AB-COMM STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN SHELL NATIONAL ART COMPETITION

Aiming to inspire and showcase creativity, third year AB Communication students Angelica Marie Juan and Rovic Baltazar joined the Shell National Students Art Competition with the theme Hope in our Art.
Shell is one of the known international energy company that operates branches in the Philippines. The said company spearheaded a national art competition with the purpose of bringing hope to people during this pandemic through visual arts.
With the guidance of their instructor Ms. Ma. Renarlyn Rose J. Cardenas, Baltazar and Juan were able to deliver their message through their respective digital artworks. Both of them highlighted the frontline medical workers in their entries. Juan bestowed the title “One Resilient Nation” to her work and Baltazar titled his work “Sa Mga Mata Ni Nurse Jane”.
The contest period ended on October 16, 2020 and winners will be announced on November 27, 2020. A cash prize worth 60,000 pesos will be given to the first placer with a gold medal and a plaque.
