UNIVERSITY HOLDS VIRTUAL GRADUATION A.Y. 2019-2020

The La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) Graduate School and Undergraduate Department conducted online commencement exercises for academic year 2019-2020 graduates, October 4, 2020, via Facebook and YouTube live.

The recently aired 28th commencement exercises for the Graduate School Department and 52nd commencement exercises for the Undergraduate Department was comprised of pre-recorded ceremonial setting with the LCUP Administrators and teaching personnel taped on October 1, 2020.

A total number of 468 students received their diplomas – 290 students from Undergraduate Department and 178 students from the Graduate School Department. A Baccalaureate Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Cornelio Jaranilla, Jr. OCD and concelebrated with Rev. Fr. Alexander Boli preceded the Graduation Rites.

During the Graduation Program, Mr. Armand Gino R. Ilag, Magna Cum Laude Awardee from the program Bachelor of Science in Accountancy delivered the Welcome Remarks. This was followed by the Address of Petition administered by Dr. Marco Rhonel M. Eusebio, Magna Cum Laude Awardee from the program Doctor in Philosophy major in Educational Leadership and Management.

The candidates for graduation were presented by Dr. Divina Ann M. Eusebio, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Enrico F. Rosales, Vice President and Dean of the Graduate Studies Department. The certificates and diplomas were awarded by Sr. Editha S. Zerna, OSA, Ph.D., University President.

Mr. Brent Joseph A. Labang, Magna Cum Laude Awardee from the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program delivered the Address of Thanks. Before the program come to a conclusion, an Induction of the Graduates to the Alumni Association was led by Dr. Jaime P. Pulumbarit, President of the LCUP Alumni Association.

This year’s graduation is the first-ever virtual graduation done in adjustment to the new normal and in compliance with the COVID-19 safety protocols. Families, friends, and colleagues of graduates chanelled their congratulatory greetings and support to the institution through the comments section.
