The LCUP academic community celebrated its Personnel Day at the Kalinangan Auditorium last December 19, Tuesday, as a way of giving employees recognition for their achievements, hard work and dedication to the University. The program commenced with an invocation, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Sr. Imelda A. Mora, OSA, University President, administered the opening remarks. Awards were given to trainers who led the University to victory in different inter-school academic, sports, and other etra-curricular competitions. Best club moderators, best teachers in the Basic Education and College Departments were likewise given accolades.

Recognitions were also extended to ISO Auditors, RQAT Certifiers, PACUCOA Accreditors, PEAC Certifiers, and community service coordinators. Performance Appreciation Awards, Outstanding Departmental Performance Awards, Outstanding Personnel Awards, and Special Citations were given to deserving recipients, as well as research recognitions for international paper presentations, local and international paper publications, completed researches, and cited researches.

The highlight of the event was the bestowing of the Service Awards to LCUP faculty and personnel who have rendered 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of enduring and genuine service to the institution. Ms. Milagros Benedictos was likewise recognized for 35 years of faithfully serving the institution, while Ms. Consorcia Figueroa, was granted the Retirement Award. Ms. Benedictos gave the word of thanks on behalf of her co-awardees, recalling her memorable experiences in the University and acknowledging the people whom she have shared her journey with. Ms. Joyce Eugenio, Human Resource and Development Director, rendered the closing remarks. Mr. Ezekiel Rodriguez and Ms. Aliana Gonzales were the Masters of Ceremony. A retro-styled Christmas Party, meanwhile, was held right after the event. The awards and recognitions given annually during Personnel Day give motivation to LCUP employees to remain excellent in their work.
