The La Consolacion University Philippines (LCUP) Library hosted an engaging benchmarking activity organized by the Aurora Boulevard Consortium Libraries, Inc. (ABCLI) on June 26, 2024. The day began with a brief yet insightful discussion about the LCUP Library, facilitated by the Director and the Librarians. They highlighted the library's crucial role in supporting the university's mission by providing essential resources and services to students and faculty. The discussion also covered the diverse range of services offered by the LCUP Library, including reference assistance, and access to extensive digital resources. Participants were particularly interested in the library's rich collection, which spans multiple academic disciplines and includes textbooks, scholarly journals, and multimedia materials.

Following the informative discussion, the group embarked on a guided tour of the St. Augustine Library. This tour allowed librarians to explore the library's facilities, including its collaborative study spaces equipped with modern technology, and the special collections room housing rare and historical documents. The tour showcased the library’s commitment to providing a dynamic and supportive environment for learning and research. Overall, the benchmarking activity at LCUP Library served as a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange and professional development among academic librarians, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in enhancing library services across the consortium.
