COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND
ACCOUNTANCY

VISION

The College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy envisions itself as a center of excellence in accountancy, business administration, and entrepreneurship education. It is committed to fostering the holistic transformation of students by delivering relevant and globally competitive programs responsive to the demands of the dynamically changing local and international business environment. The College aspires to produce professionally competent graduates who are not only equipped with business acumen but are also Christ-centered stewards of society, deeply rooted in Gospel values, and imbibed with Catholic, Augustinian, and Marian ideals.

MISSION

The College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy (CBEA), inspired by the Spirit of the Risen Christ, recognizes the synergistic value of every individual and every business process undertaken across academic and support units in our collective pursuit of excellence. Guided by this vision, the College is steadfast in its mission to deliver quality and relevant education that forms students into professionally competent graduates who are also Christ-centered stewards of society.

To effectively nurture and train our students, the same values of excellence, integrity, and commitment must be imbibed by the CBEA faculty, staff, and the operational units with whom we work in close collaboration. The College affirms that without adequate and appropriate support structures, resources, and methods, our human potential alone cannot sustain the high standards of professional competence and global competitiveness we envision for our graduates.

Thus, as an integral part of the University, the College embraces its responsibility to foster an internal environment that contributes to the holistic formation and development of all its constituents—faculty, staff, and students—as a true community of friends. In this community, we are bound by the Augustinian virtues of truth, charity, and unity, and inspired by Catholic, Augustinian-Marian ideals that shape us into catalysts of transformation in the local and global business environment.

The LCUP College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy is dedicated to providing all learners with holistic, high-quality education and services that are:

1. Relevant and responsive to the evolving needs of local and international business communities, ensuring graduates are globally competitive and socially responsible.
2. Accessible and inclusive, offering opportunities to all deserving learners regardless of gender, origin, race, or creed, in the spirit of equity and social transformation.
3. Innovative and future-ready, integrating creativity, research, and technology in program design, instruction, and academic development.
4. Collaborative and complementary, nurturing strong partnerships with industries, institutions, and business stakeholders to enhance practical learning and career opportunities.
5. Catholic in character and Augustinian in spirituality, forming Christ-centered professionals guided by the values of truth, charity, unity, and service to others.
