LCUGH CELEBRATES 12TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY; INITIATES MOBILE BLOOD DONATION

As a thanksgiving to its 12th Founding Anniversary, the La Consolacion University General Hospital (LCUGH), in collaboration with the Bulacan Provincial Blood Center and the Office of the Vice President for Spiritual Formation and Extension, spearheaded a Bloodletting Activity on October 20, 2022, at LCUGH, Plaridel, Bulacan.
The said bloodletting activity was anchored to one of the LCUP's community extension missions, Dugtong Buhay kay San Lorenzo Ruiz and its motive being one of the active participants of Blood Services Networking in Bulacan. This activity will aid the blood center in maintaining the blood supply for the region.
The call for blood donation was opened to the public, and LCUP personnel were encouraged to donate blood. There were 13 personnel who drove from the City of Malolos to Plaridel to donate their blood and save lives.
Dugtong Buhay kay San Lorenzo Ruiz formerly known as Dugong Agustino, is one of the community extension programs of the university under the Mother Rita Barcelo Outreach Program (MRBOP) established to commit to saving lives and helping the community.
